Here's how it works
LightingLight your candle and enjoy it until it has completely burned down.
CleaningThoroughly clean the ceramic container with hot water and soap.
SoilPour some soil into the container until it is full.- Flower SeedsAdd the seed paper (the candle cover) and cover it with a little soil.
- WaterWater the soil and make sure it stays moist at all times.
- VoilaAfter 2-3 weeks, your flowers will sprout. How exciting!

Here’s how to get the best out of your Lumond candle:
- Trim the wick: Before each lighting, trim the wick to about 5 mm. A wick that’s too long can cause soot and an unsteady flame.
- Wick maintenance: After extinguishing, re-center and straighten the wick.
- Good ventilation: Enjoy your candle in a well-ventilated room to avoid soot buildup.
- Keep it clean: Remove wick trimmings and match debris from the melted wax.
- Safe placement: Don’t place the burning candle in drafts, near fans, or air conditioners.
- Allow cooling: Let the candle cool completely before relighting.
- Burn time: Allow medium-sized candles to burn for 3-4 hours at a time to form an even wax pool.
- Room temperature: Ideally, light the candle at a room temperature of around 20°C (68°F).
- Keep distance: When lighting multiple candles, maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm (4 inches) between them.
- Uneven burning: If the candle burns unevenly despite a centered wick, it could be due to air drafts. Move the candle to a more protected location.
